Linux for my operation system?? why not, today there is no reason to avoid linux operation sistem because all linux aplications were made to be more similar with windows and its very helpfull for us, and ofcourse it's all free for charge. we don't have to hate windows and be linux fan but we can learn both.
The biggest reason why people don't want to try linux is because linux is unfamiliar with them, thats all because lack of knowledge about comparable software.
There are list of Linux equivalents / replacements / analogs of Windows software you can see in www.linuxrsp.ru or the official site www.linuxrsp.ru/win-lin-soft.
